Ed Worthington is a photographic artist and writer from Cardiff, Wales, that likes to document the world as he sees it through a mixture of 35mm and 120 film formats.
He considers the photographic work of Luigi Ghirri to be one of the biggest influences on his images as well as the literary concept of magical realism, finding inspiration within the writing of Gabriel Garcia Marquez. He subscribes to the idea that even the most dull and uninspiring location can offer up something unique and that ultimately there is beauty in banality and magic all around us.
His work has featured in publication such as Let’s Explore Magazine and as a contributing artist in some exhibition’s. He has recently self published a book of his series “It’s Allright Around Here, Isn’t It?” which is available for purchase here. He also enjoys writing short stories and is working on a collection to be self published in the future.
